Val-David, June 26, 2025 – North America's largest ceramics exhibition returns for its 36th edition, taking place from July 4 to August 17, 2025, in the heart of the village of Val-David. As an outstanding showcase of contemporary Quebec ceramics, the event brings together more than 100 ceramic artists each year in a breathtaking setting, offering a unique immersive experience to over 50,000 visitors.

To kick off the 36th edition of 1001 Pots, the team is pleased to invite you to the Bal des Lucioles:

As tradition dictates, the Bal des Lucioles will light up the enchanting site of 1001 Pots with its magical lights, marking the launch of this grand annual celebration of ceramics.

In addition to over 50 workshops and training sessions (ranging from beginner classes for children to advanced courses), the program offers many highlights:
- Daily: Meet the artists and visit the Espace K, a gallery dedicated to renowned artists, which this year will feature the work of Myriam Bouchard.
- Friday evenings: Intimate concerts in the Jardin de Silice (guitar and voice duo Hélène Picard and Steve Cowan, harpist Valérie Milot, the Stone Bonnets Choir, the Beija-flor flute and guitar duo, and sitar master Uwe Neumann).
- Saturday afternoons: Live jazz performances on site.
- July 5 at 11:00 AM: Wood firing lecture with Myriam Bouchard.
- August 1 to 10: 1001 Patentes qui bougent Festival, a celebration of puppetry and masked theatre, featuring spectacular and moving performances!
- August 2 and 3: Bols du Partage (Empty Bowls) — a bowl decorating activity to benefit the Val-David Food Bank (bowls will be sold in September).
- August 11 at 10:00 AM: Masterclass on local clays with Linda Swanson.
- August 17 at 10:00 AM: Lecture on eco-friendly ceramics with Cindy Labrecque and Loriane Thibodeau.
